Lions Den - The Results Are In

This year we awarded a total of £5000 to local causes through our Lions Den initiative. Here are the recipeints of those awards.

ROPLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL: 

 Awarded £300 to purchase books for their revamped Library.  

BASSY’S BARN CIC, CHAWTON: 

Petting Farm for SEND children

Awarded £400 for the purchase of trees to plant an Orchard.

ALTON STORM BASKETBALL TEAM:

Awarded £500 towards the cost of a Coach for youth training programme.

ALTON COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION: 

Awarded £500 towards subsidising attendees at Alton Community Club which combats isolation & loneliness.

EGGARS SCHOOL:

Awarded £400 towards the cost of the Senior Citizens Xmas Party 2025.

ANSTEY JUNIOR SCHOOL:

Awarded £500 towards the cost of Residential courses.

HOME-START HAMPSHIRE:

Awarded £630 towards the cost of Upgraded laptops.

EGGARS TOGETHER Parent and Teacher Association:

Awarded £353 for the purchase of two Professional Art Display Boards.  

YO-CHI UNLIMITED

A charity headquartered locally with a mission to equip children and their caregivers with accessible, practical tools that support a young persons wellbeing.

Awarded £627 towards the cost of two PCs and one Printer.

BENTLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Awarded £300 towards the cost of a calm space.           

DEMENTIA FRIENDLY ALTON:

Awarded £490 for the purchase of gardening equipment.
